BROADBAND INSTALLER/TECHNICIAN
Cable TV-Internet-Digital Phone
Job Description:
Responsibilities include installation of cable television, High Speed Broadband Cable Modem Internet service, Digital Phone, Digital TV, Digital Music, & other Broadband services to homes and business, cable & phone wiring, network wiring, connection, changes, and disconnection of cable services as well as repairs to wiring. With additional training will perform troubleshooting and Fiber/Coax plant maintenance as well as other jobs as needed using company supplied vehicle and tools.
Job Requirements:
Enjoy working directly with people
High School graduate required
Technical school graduate or previous technical job experience desired.
Current, valid motor vehicle license with excellent driving record.
Able to use Windows and familiar with use of computers and email.
Willing and able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
Comfortable with working on ladders and or in hydraulic lifts to 20’.
Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Good reading, verbal, and comprehensive skills
Understanding of basic electronics
Enjoy television and computers
Willing to live within the service area of the Jamestown or Valley City cable system
Rotating weekend on-call for service emergencies after trained
Curious and willing to ask questions

Cable TV Customer Service Representative-Full Time
Job Description:
We are looking for an individual with strong customer service skills and office experience to work in our growing technology business.
Job Description:
Sort, open, & assist in processing of mail
Assist with payment entry into computer
Answer phones and route calls
Receive payments from cable & Internet customers
Assist customers with billing, TV, Phone and Internet questions
Schedule of installation and service work in Windows based software
Answer or forward email questions
Demonstrate TV, Phone, and Internet services
Daily interaction with Computer division
This is not an entry level position
Desired Qualifications:
High School graduate and some college/business school training
Must have previous office or customer service experience - 2 years desired
Accounting skills needed. will work with electronic billing, ACH, CC.
Strong computer experience - able to use email and Internet - enjoy television
Office equipment experience - fax, copiers, word processing
Good at 10 digit keypad entry - speed test available at CSi.
Fast learner
Able to handle a variety of tasks
Good communication and clerical skills
Pleasant phone voice
Enjoy customer interaction, on the phone & in-person
Reside in CSi Jamestown cable service area
Non-smoker
Starting Compensation: wage range depending on qualifications.
Hours: 40hrs/week 8am-5pm M-F . Other benefits (paid vacation, health/dental insurance, cable/internet service) available after 90 days. Submit job application and resume to ND Job Service or CSi.
