Joni Cromwell
Joni Cromwell, 22, Aberdeen, ND died Friday July 16, 2010 at her home in Aberdeen, SD.
Joni Cromwell was born October 4, 1987 at Carrington, ND, the daughter of George Cromwell and Cynthia (Schulz) Cromwell. She attended the Kensal Public School and grew to womanhood in the vicinity.
She entered the United States Army, served in Korea and Fort Hood, TX before being honorably discharged
After her discharge from the Army, she moved to Aberdeen, SD.
She was a member of the VFW in Aberdeen, SD. She was known by her friends as ‘Punky’ and later by ‘Inch’.
She is survived by her 2 sisters, Tammy Cromwell, Fargo, ND; Becky (Clifford) Stoppleworth, Kensal, ND; 1 brother, Tony (Liza) Kollman, Minneapolis, MN; her maternal grandmother, Connie Schulz, Streeter, ND; numerous aunts, uncles, and many cousins; and a special friend, BJ Kvasnicka, Aberdeen, SD.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her paternal grandparents and her maternal grandfather.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday July 21, 2010 at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.
The interment will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday July 22, 2010 in the Streeter City Cemetery in Streeter, ND.
Arrangements are with the Haut Funeral Homes in Jamestown, ND.
