OMAHA, Neb. Releases at Jamestown Reservoir were reduced by 50 cubic feet per second (cfs) at approximately 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, from 250 cfs to 200 cfs. Pipestem Reservoir releases remain unchanged at 250 cfs. Combined releases are now at 450 cfs.
We are very near the base of the seasonal flood control pools at both Jamestown and Pipestem Reservoirs, and the temporary levee removal work was completed on Aug. 3, says Colonel David C. Press, commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District.
