Jamestown,ND (KCSi-T.V. News) -- On Tuesday, (May 26th) Jamestown residents took advantage of the offer of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc and Valley Sales Company of Jamestown, which donated 2200 cases of canned water to the residents of Jamestown. The donation is a result of the City’s request for residents to have a supply of potable water on hand due to the continued stress on the City’s water supply and sanitary sewer systems. Greg Spenningsby, owner of Valley Sales Company expressed his concern regarding the amount of stress being placed on the City’s infrastructure. Spenningsby stated, “Donating this water to the community will help residents prepare for any potential outage that may occur in the City sanitary and/or water systems.”
Jamestown City Engineer,Reed Schwartzkopf, thanked Spenningsby for his willingness to assist the city. Schwartzkopf stated, “The next few weeks are going to be a very critical time for the community. This donation of potable water brings residents a step closer to being prepared in the event of a system outage.”
