Man Faces Multiple Charges
Incidents In Jamestown

Jamestown, ND (KCSi-TV News) -- Jamestown police were called to the Business Loop West area on June 25, 2010 concerning a male that fled a taxi without paying the fare.
The individual was not immediately located.
The police report said at about 2:14 a.m., officers responded to a vehicle fire at Jamestown Motel, and a witness said a male was seen in the van just prior to the fire. A search for the male in the area turned up empty.
Then, at about 4:49 a.m., a Southwest Jamestown resident reported a male with no clothes on in her garage. The suspect was taken into custody and was identified as 31 year old, Leo Phillip King, no known current address.
Investigations led to police connecting the theft of the taxi fare and the van fire, to the suspect in the garage.
King has been charged with theft of services for the taxi fare a Class B Misdemeanor. King was also charged with unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, endangering by fire, both Class C Felonies, criminal mischief, a Class A Misdemeanor relating to damage caused to the burned van. King was also charged with disorderly conduct a Class B misdemeanor, and criminal trespassing a Class A misdemeanor relating to his arrest at the southwest Jamestown residence garage. He remains in custody at the Stutsman County Law Enforcement Center.
Jamestown City Fire Department responded to the van fire at the Jamestown Motel lot, which caused extensive damage to a 1998 Chevrolet van belonging to a Burnsville, Minnesota man.
